Small business owners certainly have to wear many hats.  Here at the gallery, Jane and Mary curate, waitress, sell, clean, coordinate, plan, advertise, market, repair and even act as agony aunts on occasion!  We love it all but this month is even busier than normal!  Easter is nearly upon us and it is always a busy time of year.  We have lovely decorations, cards and bunnies as well as chocolate gifts and bars.  Please note that we are closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

This Saturday is our preview of Annie Bousfield’s new exhibition “The Colourful North”.  Come along to meet Annie and enjoy a glass of Prosecco while you view her stunning paintings.

We also have a weekend of workhops with Lucy and Edward from The Old Mill, Palnackie.  A Palette from Plants starts on Saturday with Madder, Weld and Woad followed by The Three Primaries on Sunday.  You can book for both for £115 or £60 per day including all materials, lunch, coffee and cake.  The gallery and shop will be open on Sunday the 6th from 11:00-3:00.

The next Wellness Wednesday session is on the 9th.  We highly recommend these sessions that include yoga, art and a nourishing lunch.  This month you’ll be getting creative with chamomile to make simple remedies to use at home.

We have a Craft Cafe coming up in April 11th.  There are still some places left so book quickly to secure your favourite sessions.  New this time are mosaics, bookmaking and adorable felted fruit key chains.   You get a choice of two activities with a chance to chat with a glass of wine in the middle.

On April 12th, we will be holding one of our very popular workshops-Two-BlockLinoprinting with Diana FitzPatrick.  Diana is a super tutor and it is always a great day.
