Sarah Farooqi Art

I grew up drawing and painting, but left it behind to work in computer graphics (big mistake), then as a teacher, then a full-time parent. One day I agreed to take on an art project in my local school. I enjoyed it but had to stop myself snatching the paintbrushes off the children and doing it myself! So I took up drawing again and haven’t looked back.

Now working full-time as an artist, I paint landscapes, townscapes and illustrated maps. Projects include visitor maps for The Alnwick Garden and the National Trust. I also love spending time on private commissions, from weddings and treasured places to bespoke family maps. Visitors to my studio/shop are always welcome.

Diana Fitzpatrick

I am Diana FitzPatrick and I have studio 3 here at Gallery45. I am a Printmaker and use my lovely bright studio to create my artwork. In there you will find me experimenting with fabulous coloured inks and wonderful ferns and seedheads  picked on my walks with my dog.
I work on Monoprints, Linoprints and Drypoint Etching …all using my Hawthorn Press, and usually with a botanical theme.
I have a gallery wall bright with framed original artwork, all of which can be viewed or purchased.  I run workshops, usually in our spacious Long Room, in various forms of printmaking.

Pop in to my studio anytime to see me … it is a very welcoming space!

Pam Stevenson Art & Drift

The new creatives to join Gallery Forty5 are artist Pam Stevenson and Alison and Amanda from Drift. Both from Rothbury or its environs, they are delighted to be part of our wonderful creative community

Drift have long produced work to sell at the gallery so regulars will be familiar with their beautiful glass and tiny sculptures. They have recently ventured into ceramics so there is always something fresh to see. They will also be offering workshops so do pop in to book a place or look at their stunning work

Pam is a self-taught Northumbrian artist and much of her work is inspired by the beautiful coast and countryside that she feels privileged to explore and enjoy every day and in all weathers. Pam uses soft pastels, pan pastels and a variety of inks and dry media.  Over the years she has produced an extensive range of prints and cards from her originals and she accepts commissions.  As well as doing workshops with local art groups and working with budding artists on a one to one basis from her home, she has also been running a weekly drop-in class here at the Gallery. She now now has the opportunity to offer more coaching and guidance here in the studio using materials tailored to the artistic needs of individuals and small groups. Visitors are always welcome to call in for a chat, browse the artwork or book an art session.
